I can also recommend Rinn Fada by Conorsim and Enekjaer by FagerSims (the population for Enekjaer comes in an extra save file and it requires a bit of CC - jynx' and Misty's rabbithole rugs and an extra package that comes with the download, though). Haunted Valley by Rflong is also fully populated and CC-free, but I haven't played that yet. (An earlier version of RbH is available at MTS, but the later version at the Exchange is better and when it comes to NS I'd say stick with the MTS version instead, the Late Night version of NS from the Exchange isn't as good anymore) Other very nicely populated worlds are the WA version of Niua Simoa by kiwi_tea and the Generations version of Riverblossom Hills by the same creator. I think that I've tried all of Quailhogs' worlds more or less, so if you want my opinion on a particular one, just ask. Later versions might be okay, too, but for my tastes they became too cluttered because of the sheer number of additional lots he had to squeeze in in order to make them compatible with later EPs. For this I'd recommend the Generations version. Grey Meadow is his first and it is still my favourite.

The Supernatural version of Vargfjell, for example, is rather good, but the Island Paradise version is a mess as is the Island Paradise version of The Stoneshields.

He has several versions of each of his worlds in his Exchange studio, because he kept updating them whenever a new EP was released, and the later versions are often broken beyond repair. It's rare to find similarly designed worlds anywhere in this respect. Intricate storylines, complicated familial relations, friends and enemies and very detailed bios for every single Sim. Apart from their special atmosphere, their most outstanding merit is how he populated them, in my opinion. I can fully agree with the suggestion of Quailhogs worlds.
